Riverfolk's mission is to engage the community in music and arts experiences, which nurture creativity and promote cultural diversity.
- Riverfolk Festival & Jam Camp - Annual Bluegrass/Cajun Jam Camp, Songwriting Contest and Concerts held annually the first week in August.
- Manchester Gazebo Concerts - Summer series of free concerts at the Gazebo on Thursday evenings in Manchester. (ManchesterGazeboConcerts.org)
- Accomplishments
- Riverfolk launches the weekend Festival which draws nearly 3000 to Carr Park, supporting over 14 performing artists 33 local visual artists and 8 local non-profit groups.
- Riverfolk sponsors a mural project with artists from the migrant community at DuRussell Potato Farms
- Silent Auction for Carr Park Playground Project
- Riverfolk sponsors a Hurricane Katrina Relief Concert raising $25,000 for the American Red Cross
- Riverfolk releases "Riverfolk Festival Live" CD, with proceeds benefiting Hurricane Katrina relief
- Riverfolk co-sponsors concert at The Ark raising $2,664 for New Orleans Tipitina's Musicians' Foundation.
- Riverfolk Community Arts Alliance sponsors local art exhibit at Manchester's Christmas in the Village
- Riverfolk Community Arts Alliance sponsors kids art workshops and concert at Manchester High
- Riverfolk launches new Community Arts Center, offering visual arts, music, and community theater

- Riverfolk commissions “artist-in-residence”, Mary Thiefels, mural artist to paint downtown mural.
- Riverfolk Community Arts Center sponsors a community musical, "Music Man".
- Riverfolk annually grants $1000 in Young Artist Scholarships to Manchester High School Students. Granted over $6500 to Scholarship students thus far.
- Riverfolk Festival reinvents in 2011 to includes partnership with The Ark and Sharon Mills and expands Jam Camp opportunity to adults and youth in the community.
