MISSION
Riverfolk's mission is to engage the community in music and arts experiences, which nurture creativity and promote cultural diversity.
NEW 501c3
The Riverfolk Music & Arts Festival is exempt from Federal income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions are tax deductible under section 170 of the Code. Riverfolk is qualified to receive bequests, devices, transfer or gifts under section 2055, 2106, or 2522 of the Code. Organizations exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Code are further classified as public charities or private foundations. Riverfolk will be treated as a public charity.

Our accomplishments…
- Riverfolk sponsors a mural project with artists from the migrant community at DuRussell Potato Farms, spring 2005.
- Fourth Annual Riverfolk Ceili Event and Riverfolk Music & Arts Festival, August 2005.
- Silent Auction benefits the Carr Park Playground Project, August 6, 2005.
- Riverfolk sponsors a Hurricane Katrina Relief Concert raising $25,000 for the American Red Cross, September 2005.
- Riverfolk releases "Riverfolk Festival Live" CD, with proceeds benefiting Hurricane Katrina relief.
- Riverfolk co-sponsors concert at The Ark in Ann Arbor raising $2,664 for New Orleans Tipitina's Musicians' Foundation.
- Riverfolk Community Arts Alliance, (RCAA) sponsors local art exhibit at Manchester's Christmas in the Village, November 2006.
- Riverfolk Community Arts Alliance, (RCAA) sponsors kids art workshops and concert at the Manchester High School Auditorium January 2006.
- Riverfolk launches new Community Arts Center, (RCAC) offering visual arts, music, and community theater, Fall 2006.
- Riverfolk co-sponsors H.S. Student Art Exhibit with Manchester District Library, Winter 2006.
- Riverfolk Community Arts Alliance sponsors a community musical, "The Wizard of Oz".
- Manchester Gazebo Concerts joins Riverfolk as a new program committee, March, 2006.
- Riverfolk contributes donations to the Village Parks Commission and offers to make electrical and structural improvements to Carr Park.
- Riverfolk raises $1000 for a Young Artist Scholarship fund, Summer 2006.
