A special night of music with the Cuban sounds of Tumbao Bravo then plan to party with the rising young talent from Louisiana, Corey Ledet and His Zydeco Band from the home of Creole, Zydeco, and Cajun rhythms. Rest assured Corey's Zydeco sounds will make for a memorable Unplugged Event on Friday night.

"Lil Pop" Ledet, a native of Houston, Texas, excels at both the urban Zydeco sounds of his home town, the Creole music played in days past by his relatives in rural Louisiana, and the contemporary Zydeco beat that draws crowds to dance halls across the region and beyond. Corey describes a recent trip to Moscow where he played before a crowd of some 70,000. He had an audience in the millions on Russian TV who were so excited about Corey and the sound of the Zydeco Band that they were playing "air" rubboard the same way rock fans play air guitar.

Tumbao Bravo, a Cuban Jazz ensemble consists of Congas, Timbales, Sax/Flute/Piccolo, Trumpet/Flugelhorn, Piano, Bass Guitar, and Bongos serving up Mambos, Cha Chas, Rumbas and Boleros, as just some of the authentic rhythms explored by this exciting group. With a relaxed, groove-driven approach and sensibility this Michigan-based ensemble Tumbao Bravo, winner of three Detroit Music Awards, is among the best in the Midwest. Tumbao Bravo's debut appearance at Riverfolk will be Friday night also here on Saturday!
